I have to admit even though this one story has resulted in more hits than I think any other story on this blog in a long time, I have no idea why it's so popular. I have linked to them all in that google search so all you people that want more and more can get your fix. But just please answer just one question.

Don't know, western euros history is just dripping in blood. I was watching a history program the other day of the British penal colonies and how they got started. It turns out that everything had a death penalty. Most of the convict that had their death sentence commuted to "transportation" were found guilty of such petty crimes that it was hard to believe that they had been sentenced to death. Not to mention the continues wars that raged across Europe from the beginning of time. And now they are freaked by a few pictures of a skull? Don't seem to make since at all.
