All good things end
"I am suprised by the amount of people that directly ask me about Iraq or whether I killed anyone there. They never ask me how many people I might have saved or how many times I risked my life and that of my team to not kill Iraqis. Why not point them to your blog. I have found it most informative, and instructive. Anyone wanting to learn a little about what it's like for a deployed soldier could do a lot worse than reading Chapter: War from beginning to end.
It is contrary to the culture I grew up in where asking Vietnam veterans about their war was a very sensitive subject, to be approached cautiously. Years after he returned from that same country I still am careful asking my father about his experiences there."
Chapter: War
I know this might come kind of late, but I want to thank you for your blog, and your service, and welcome you back home
