The Pope and Chavez

I was just thinking about the Pope's remarks and the scandal that has erupted. The first image that came to mind was Hugo Chavez and the Iranian president Alnutjob. South America is very Catholic and they are going to back their Pope. I wonder when the pictures and news of the Muslim burning effigies of the Pope what their reaction to pictures of Chavez and Alnutjob are going to be. I also wonder if all those south Americans that are against the WoT and the US might change their mind. What would happen if the Pope is killed in a terrorist attack by some Muslin fanatics. I don't know what exactly the Pope wanted to do, but I think he may have done us all a favor.
