Dignity In The Sadness

"Prologue: Canadian Artist and Human Rights Activist, Diane Carriere, is exploring themes of fascism, and restrictions of human rights in repressive and totalitarian regimes, such as Iran, through an exhibition of her paintings at the D'Last -- noted Iranian-American photographer Amir Normandi's -- Gallery in Chicago, beginning September 26.

I was intrigued that Diane Carriere was able to imbue in to her works of art, a sense of dignity.

Dignity in the sadness."
