Did Osama act in “Kabul Express”?
So who wants to catch a glimpse of the real Afghanistan?……..Here is a film that captures the virgin locales of Afghanistan, untouched and untapped on the Indian screen, supported by an amazing story and cast. The John-Arshad starrer Kabul Express is the next outing from Yash Raj Films which will possibly hit the big screens this Diwali before Dhoom2 (slated to release on November 24).
Filmmaker Kabir Khan had a tough time shooting the film in Afghanistan as the cast and crew kept getting threats from Taliban, which created a tensed atmosphere.
The movie is about a news channel team of a director ( John Abraham ) and a cinematographer (Arshad Warsi) venturing to Afghanistan to shoot a documentary film on the Taliban and the adventures that come their way. The theatrical trailer opens with John Abraham and Arshad Warsi jumping on Afghan land from a hovering helicopter. Subsequently the five lead protagonists of the film are introduced.
“Two Indians (John and Arshad), One American, One Afghan, One Pakistani; five people from different worlds. Their paths destined to cross in a country devastated by war”.
