A Unilateral Ride over the Edge
"Foreign Policy in Focus published this article analyzing the latest Gaza crisis (written by me and my Israeli friend Yair).Looks like the usual APU rhetoric. They demand a withdrawal, and when the Israelis up and go, its a "Unilateral" policy.
Many analysts of the escalation in Gaza seem to be interested in questions such as "who started the fight" and "who should stop first". But the latest installment of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues to be more complicated than a ping-pong match needing a lot more than "stopping" to solve it."
Raed in the Middle
Maybe if there were an Arab state willing to move in and pick up any slack left by the Israeli withdrawal it would not give the terrorist in Syria a chance to fill the void. But wait! that would put the responsibility right in our laps.. we cant have that, lets just blame it on the Jews, that always works.
