Poll: Jordanians view US ops in Iraq as terrorism
More Jordanians regard US military operations in Iraq as acts of terrorism than they do the attacks of the slain al-Qaida leader in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, an opinion poll found.
The poll carried out by Jordanian University's Center for Strategic Studies sought to gauge Jordanian views of violence and groups that use violence in the Middle East.
It found that the majority of Jordanians regard Hamas and Hizbullah as legitimate resistance groups (69.1 percent for Hamas, 63.6 percent for Hizbullah), but they consider the al-Qaida organization led by Osama Bin-Laden a terrorist body.
The poll, conducted in mid-June, surveyed 1,716 people, of whom 612 are considered leaders of public opinion - university professors, trade unionists, and government officials.

Funny how Zeyad was in town for a week and could see something the hometown bloggers did not? I don't know if this tells us something about Zeyad, or the home team
