He was absolutely aghast over the idea that the Iraqi government would offer amnesty to Iraqis that were part of the terrorism playing out in the country. He was screaming, literally screaming, that the Republicans were evil, that they should burn in hell, that they hated the soldiers in the military, and that they had painted a target on the back of every single American soldier now serving in Iraq by allowing the Iraqi PM to announce such a plan (although I haven't been able to find a reference to any such announcement)."

Read the whole thing, it's so funny I was literally rolling on the floor laughing at the puchline at the end.

Oh about the amnesty thing, that would seem to be true. I think it's one of those issue that we may just have to suck it up. Accept that many people were convinced that we were an occupier, and that they may have done what they did with that in mind, and grant them this "amnesty" in exchange for coming in out of the rain. That is after all our goal in the end.
