Freedom of faith flourishes in Iraq's Kurdistan.

"This story from Radio Sawa brought some encouraging news about the state of freedom of faith in Kurdistan where hundreds of people have recently converted from Islam to to Christianity without facing the threat of being persecuted."

Good news from Kurdistan.

But you know I have been wondering of late who is behind all the sectarian killing going on in Iraq. I know the usual suspects Sunni, Shi'a, death squads, Zarq terrorist. But I keep thinking that there is a hidden hand in all this. One thing that I keep thinking of is that if the terrorist or even the Iranians are fueling the violence it's very dangerous for them. Like last week we had the Ayatollahs arguing with each other, and there are several factions of Shi'a at odds. If that were to escalate it would spread like wildfire throughout the ME. Shi'a against Shi'a violence would spread right into Iran, if Iranian backed factions in Iraq started shooting at each other how long before the thier backers in Iran started doing the same? So I keep asking myself who would reap the benefit from all this, and I keep coming back to the same answer, The Kurds.
