Speaking Freely

"The purpose of this post is for pictures of words. The thoughts behind these signs are the second and most hardened front in the transformation of the Middle East...the most important and ultimate goal in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and On Terror. Incidentally, I'm pretty sure all of these pictures came from a protest of Muslims in LONDON.

These beliefs, to the degree they are honestly held are simply incompatible with a free, liberal, society. One of them must give way.
For that reason, NO concessions should be given to this side. They should be allowed to protest and even show signs like these. But they absolutely should get nothing in the way of an apology out of it. I know, I know. That ship has sailed. The Danish government has apologized. The newspaper that published these cartoons has apologized...twice. I wonder why it didn't make any difference?"
