Cops, Joes, The Press, War Crimes, and Frustration.

"I NEVER felt a bit of sympathy for Rodney King...until today. On February 1st a story came out about an Air Force Policeman shot by a Chino California sherrif's deputy after a 100 mph chase. The standard nosey neighbor shot a video of Elio Carrion being shot 3 times after complying with the officer and verbalizing the offifers commands showing compliance. From the look of the low quality video he was on his knees when the shots rang out. By the way, he had been back from Iraq only a few hours."
A Candle in the Dark
Now I understand this rant. I read it the other day, but was like what the Fuck. Now I know.

I had one of those once, I was pulling my boat late one night to go shrimping and was pulled over because there was no tag on the trailer, it must have fallen off at the ramp. That happens all the time with boats. Well anyway I had to search for the papers, so I tell the cop, hey I have to reach up here and look for it, as I'm doing it I look back and the guy has his gun out of the holster and his finger on the trigger! I told him to relax that I was sure it's up here somewhere... I thought the fool was going to shoot me over a tag registration, lucky for me I found the papers.

I don't know if you've ever seen that TV show Animal police, or something like that, where the camera follows the Animal control people around. Well I hate that show, I cant watch it for more than a few seconds before I want to throw something at the TV. They go around all the time plotting how there going to entrap someone for some so-called offense. Most of the time it's nothing major or cruel treatment, just some technicality and they have nothing better to do than to justify their existence by trapping some poor fool into admitting ownership of guardianship of some animal so they can slap him with charges and fines. Drives me crazy
