OK I have been hearing some news on this and some are saying that it was some guy (44yo American citizen) with bipolar disorder that freaked out and was shot dead by and air marshal. In other words, a major fuckup. Welcome to Miami

Update It is being reported that one person has been killed

Shots fired on an American Airlines plane on the ground at Miami International Airport. The flight originated in Columbia, the flight had several air marshals on board, who supposedly are the ones that fired the shots. Homeland Security and Miami police on the scene.

MIAMI - Shots were fired on board an American Airlines flight that had landed at Miami International Airport, according to broadcast reports.

At least one person was wounded, the reports said. The plane had just arrived from Colombia and was headed to Orlando.

Airport and Miami-Dade County police officials said they had no immediate comment.

There is more. Someone said he had a bomb and reached into a bag, that's when he was fired on.. the radio just reported. I keep missing the flight number.
