Something is wrong

Something is wrong, when the "right" is so pissed off about the presidents new nominee to the supreme court. I think it's all a scam, I think the talking points went out and told them to talk shit about the nominee just to ease her through the judiciary committee. Don't take the bait, look into this woman and find out who she is, and who she is not. Then report back

It bothers me that she never worked as a judge.

Don't you find it weird to nominate a non-judge for the supreme court?

Actually no, it's a bit refreshing to get some non judges on there. If you ask me that would count as one on the plus side. Remember the US constitution does not put any restraints on people, only that they pass the Senate.

Why can't a "normal" person sit in the big chair? Not that she exactly that, she's a (blood sucking) lawyer, but in today's complicated world it would be hard for someone without a law degree to get past the Senate.

Now the radio is going crazy with rumors, she's gay, what did she do with all her money, she's Bushes mistress, but then again so was Rice, that Bush nominated her because he's week, afraid of the dem's, trying to divert attention from, war, Delay, Frist, Bennett, Libby, gas prices, hurricane Katrina, FEMA... and the list goes on and on.
I don't know what to think, she was a dem till the 80's.

I think unless I hear something, I'm going to reserve judgment.

Thank you for the good laugh. Is she really gay or it's just a rumor?

I don't know what to think of her. I guess we have to wait and see.

I don't know? But that's what the conservatives were saying yesterday. The thing is that she's never been married, and has no children, so "right" there must be something wrong with her

She was the Texas lottery commissioner or something like that.

Yes, there is a story on Drudge, I think the headline was about a stormy tenure, but I have not read it yet.

I'm a wee apprehensive about a non-judge sitting as one of the seven highest judges in the land.

It's one thing being an advocate - it's quite another being ostensibly impartial.

Hello t'su

Welcome to my blog!

Like I was saying to Fay, for me the lest of my worries, I would even count it as a plus. I'm much more worried about her philosophy, or about what Rush said today, in his attempt to repair some of the damage he, himself did to her yesterday, and apologies for the president, he said something that stuck in my head. She's been involved with Bush in a lot of his controversial decisions and problems like the prisoner abuse, and Katrina or something and so she's going in to protect his ass once it all comes out. Words to that effect.... sort of left me thinking.. that would be worth pissing off all rightwingers.
But because your new here make sure you read the official disclaimer.
