Shiite Group Wedding Held in Baghdad Slum

"BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - The sons and daughters of dozens of activists killed by Saddam Hussein's regime gathered Saturday for a mass wedding organized by a charity group at a time when many are finding it difficult to wed due to high prices and unemployment.

The 200 young men and women sat on white plastic chairs at Mohsen Mosque in the Baghdad Shiite enclave of Sadr City, as government officials gave speeches criticizing the former dictator who ruled Iraq for 23 years."
