Are they leaving Iraq ?

"Many theories on extricating UK and US forces from Iraq. The reason there appear to be so many sides and angles to the issue is a reflection of the lack of a general strategy in Iraq guiding US/UK actions. The reason it all looks so confused is because it is. Clearly the UK would like to be out of Iraq sooner rather than later, the cost of this war is very high for a tightly stretched UK military budget (the Invincible has been taken out of service six months early to pay for Iraq), but how to do this without upsetting the Americans and giving the appearance of leaving under fire.?"
