"14 June 2004

Slacking the last few days. Two days ago about 10 mortars were shot at the FOB. Five were inside the wire north of the gym and five outside the wire, no one was hurt. Yesterday was an enormous goat fuck. We were supposed to raid a coffee shop that the rebels shot at 1st platoon from. The Scouts gave us a 6 digit grid so it could have been within a hundred yards of that point. Luckily there were about 6 coffee shops in that exact area so it took a nice long time to raid and search each one."
