Oh ya know I was just reading how the Gitmo detainees/prisoners talk of hunting down the people who work at the place, break into their homes and slash the throats of all family members...

Be aware that the source of that information has been known in the past as an alarmist and for spreading rumors that turn out not to be true. So I think we have to wait for more facts on this matter before believing anything that comes out.

Tom,

Mark's boss want us to buy water and food supply for a week just in case the hurricane comes this way. He said we may lose electricity for a week in these cases.

So, if I disappear. You know I'm hiding in my closet reading the next Harry Potter under candle lights.

I am sort of clue-less about Belmont, I did not know it was near the cost, or in an area frequented by hurricanes.
We here in Miami have not been hit by a major hurricane in my lifetime, though we have the experience of Andrew that was a very close call. We have boarded up many times, but to tell you the truth, I really don't remember the storms, as after picking up my shop, and the shop of my friend, and then boarding up our houses and parents, I usually sleep right through the storm, I tell my family, if it comes our way and the house is coming apart, wake me up. If not leave me alone.

I just went over to the Hurricane Blog to get the latest, and I realized something. The people that run that blog are journalist, and they are trying this new blog thing, but they still seem to have a journalist mentality, they talk we read. I say that because I noticed that they do not respond to their readers comments, or at least in the small survey I took they were not talking in the comments section. Hopefully over time that will change. It's blog, it's interactive, and that's what makes it special.
