Baghdad's Stadium is back to life.

"But obviously, the current relatively calm situation in Baghdad encouraged the authorities and the soccer clubs to resume holding matches in this stadium and I really admire the thousands of spectators who came to the stadium hours before the match started and defied all fears and threats and cheered their favorite teams in a festival of sport, joy and hope."

Anyone else notice that this is the second report of relative calm in Baghdad. I'm not sure if this is just a short breather while the terrorist regroup, or if we are seeing the results of recent operations in Baghdad and the border with Syria, and the campaign to win over some of the Sunni moderates. I just don't have a clear view of the facts on the ground. Time will tell. I would stay on the safe side and call the situation fluid an wait for further developments. Story developing...
