the First Amendment

Can any of my reader(s) tell me what five freedoms are guaranteed by the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

You can find it here.

I asked that question because I saw a report on TV that only 2% of people polled could name the five freedoms.
Even though I know that you knew that and did not just look it up, I guess the internet makes it harder to ask these questions.

Let me ask you this, What do we celebrate on July the 4th. No peeking

Very good now here is the hard part, Independence from who?
Now I know your telling yourself, Madtom must be part of some special education program where he's heard these questions pose a dilemma for people. But try it yourself.
I have forgotten the rest of the questions but I had like five of them that you would thing anyone would know. easy as pie, and when I saw people not know them on TV I thought to myself, this is a joke, this can't be right. So I started asking everyone the questions..... You would never believe how many people I came across, that just did not know.

1- who's the President, or VP
2- what do we celebrate on the 4th?
from who?
And a few others, I have completely forgotten.
