Negotiating position. You have to start haggling from somewhere.

I don't know, they have been getting the short end of the stick for so long... they just might hold their guns on this one. But I guess your probably right. But just how much lower will they go. Will the other side now come back with an offer of less than what they got now?

That is the map the Kurds are proposing as the new Kurdistan. They want this map included in the constitution to delineate their territory. They are including all their lost territory from like the last 100- 150 years of something like that. Don Cox as you can see thinks that what they are doing is asking for the sky so that in the negotiations they can get as much as possible. This is one of the thorny issues that are still not resolved and that involve drawing a line over the oil fields. So you can imagine that it's not going to be easy to settle. From the time of the TAL they have been putting they issue off to the future, the Shi'a still want to push it off the table for another day. But the Kurds want to know where they stand and are demanding resolution now, and they want it spelled out clear in the constitution. I am sure I am leaving out most of the details. Remember my disclaimer.

I'm not sure if you saw, but I updated with a few historical maps that seem to support the kurds position... but, big but, there is not censes data from the time and region...

We are patient up to some level, after that you will see what will happen for those lizard eater arabs and wild turkmens in south Kurdistan. they are playing with fire baby.

oops I forgot to tell you all Kurds are not PDK and PUK, so don't count each and everything on them.

End of your funny story but the real story is still going on keep watching
